The Uttar Pradesh District Program Officer has opened the UP Anganwadi Recruitment 2026 process for more than 60,000 vacancies across different districts of the state. Recruitment is being carried out district-wise, with separate application deadlines depending on the location.
Women candidates who have completed the required educational qualification and meet the eligibility conditions can apply through the official recruitment portal. Applications have been accepted on a district-wise basis since November 2025, and the closing dates vary according to the district notification.

The recruitment includes vacancies for Anganwadi Workers and Helpers in districts such as Varanasi, Deoria, Mainpuri, Siddharth Nagar, Sambhal, Auraiya, Pratapgarh, Shravasti, Chandauli, Mathura, Agra, Aligarh, Meerut, Bijnor, Kanpur, Lucknow, Prayagraj, Ghazipur, Bareilly, Bahraich, Sitapur, Lakhimpur Kheri, Kushinagar, Jaunpur, Gorakhpur, Jhansi, Ghaziabad, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Hapur, and many others. Each district has its own vacancy count and application deadline as mentioned in the official notification.
Eligibility
- Only female candidates are eligible.
- Applicants must have passed Class 12 (Intermediate) from a recognized board.
- The candidate should be a resident of the same village, ward, or Nyaya Panchayat from which she is applying.
